Things to know before getting started.

Due to the on-call nature of this work and raising a young family myself, I only take on a very limited number of birth clients per year. This allows me to give my birthing families my full energy, knowledge, and presence throughout their pregnancies, deliveries, and postpartum seasons without detracting from the high and holy calling of loving and raising my own babies. I love supporting births and feel very honored to walk alongside the families I’ve been hired to serve. I encourage you to reach out to see if your estimated due date aligns with my availability.

At this time I am not working with a back-up doula. If labor should begin prior to the on-call window of time (two weeks prior to due date), I will make every effort within my control to attend and support your birth in-person, as soon as possible. If being in-person is impossible, I will provide virtual support in the same nature as my virtual support doula packages.
Should an emergency happen that prevents me from attending and/or supporting a birth in the on-call timeframe, the full payment (minus the initial deposit) will be returned OR can be rolled forward into postpartum doula support.

I am currently in the process of completing doula certification with DONA International. This means I’ve completed training in basic childbirth education, basic lactation and newborn feeding consultation, and extensive education and hands-on training for pregnancy and birth.
What this means for clients while I’m still in the process of completing certification is a potential discount on services until my certification is complete. Reach out to see if this could apply to you!
