As the saying goes, the power of a birth plan is not in the plan itself, but in the process of becoming educated about all of your options. Think of this service as a miniature crash course in birth education & labor prep. You could spend hours canvasing the internet trying to ask all the right questions and find the research to back your choices, OR you can be guided through the process in a friendly, honest, and encouraging way.
Two 2-Hour prenatal visits
We’ll discuss your needs and desires for birth, with practical exercises to mitigate unmet expectations in labor and delivery
Provide useful tools for labor and delivery, with suggested movements to rehearse prior to labor
Advice on baby registry planning and nursery shopping, as needed throughout the pregnancy
Provide a list of recommended questions to ask your care provider throughout your pregnancy
Easy-to-digest information provided for your partner on how to support you best in labor

Virtual Birth Support
For birthing couples who desire the encouragement and knowledge of a doula throughout pregnancy, labor, and immediate postpartum, but either don’t desire in-person support or are located out of the radius of service.
Unlimited text and email support during the length of our contract
Two 2-Hour prenatal visits to assess your needs and desires for birth, with practical exercises to mitigate unmet expectations
Provide useful tools for labor and delivery, with suggested movements to be rehearsing prior to labor
Advice on baby registry planning and nursery shopping
Virtual doula support while in labor (phone calls, chat, and video calls) throughout your labor at home and birthplace/hospital
Continuous emotional and informational support to you and your partner for the duration of labor and birth, to help you hold and move towards the vision you created for your baby’s birth
Tips for your partner on how to provide effective physical support and comfort measures while in labor

Support your spouse/birth partner with ways to help you through labor, plus feel confident and cared for themselves
Assistance with your baby’s first feed & your immediate postpartum skin-to-skin
1 postpartum visit & wellness check

Planned Cesarean Birth Support
There are many reasons that families may be pursuing a planned cesarean for the birth of their baby(ies), most of which are cause for more support for the birth, not less. Because of the scheduled nature of this birth experience, the investment costs less, while the quality of care and support remains the same.

Two 2-Hour prenatal visits to discuss your needs and desires for birth, as well as establish your postpartum plan
Specific C-section education and preparation
Advice on baby registry planning and nursery shopping
In-person support for pre-op, delivery (if allowed in OR at your birthing hospital), and will remain with the mother while in recovery
Photography of birth, if desired
Assistance with your baby’s first feed & your immediate postpartum skin-to-skin
